Living Collections and Dry Collections

These collections serve multiple purposes, including contemplation, environmental education, teaching resources, and the conservation of genetic material, showcasing both native and exotic tree species. These areas are true open-air exhibitions. In addition, visitors can explore the dry collection rooms, which house seeds, fruits, wood samples, and insect specimens, offering an opportunity to discover the vast biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest.
