Vale’s Whistleblower Channel can be used by anyone, inside or outside the company, who wants to report a suspicion or violation of our Code of Conduct.
The reports are registered by an independent company and forwarded to the team responsible for the investigations.
The information is treated with secrecy and confidentiality. Under no circumstances will there be intimidation or retaliation against whistleblowers.
Once received, reports are assessed internally and classified according to category and criticality. They can also be classified as complaints and, if applicable, directed to the areas responsible.

You can also make your report by phone or letter. 

Calls are toll-free and there is a specific number for each country. 

After submitting the report, you will receive a case protocol number. Using this number, you will be able to communicate with our investigation team, provide additional information, and monitor the progress of the case from submission through closure. Access to the protocol is restricted exclusively to you. To preserve the confidentiality and integrity of the process, we do not disclose details regarding the outcome of the investigation.
