PT Vale memiliki tiga wilayah operasi, yaitu Blok Sorowako, Indonesia Growth Project (IGP) Morowali, dan IGP Pomalaa. Ketiga wilayah ini membuka peluang bagi para talenta berbakat untuk berkontribusi dalam pengembangan perusahaan dan turut serta dalam upaya mendorong kemajuan yang berkelanjutan.
Sorowako
Experience a dynamic life in Sorowako, where modern facilities meet stunning natural beauty. Our mining town offers a harmonious work-life balance, supported by quality educational facilities and a variety of recreational activities.
Location: East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province
Temperature and Humidity: The climate in Sorowako is tropical, with average temperatures ranging from 25°C to 32°C and humidity levels around 80%.
Geography: Sorowako is situated on the shores of the breathtaking Matano Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush tropical forests. This captivating location enhances your work and leisure experiences.
Demographics and Cultural Characteristics: Sorowako is home to a community primarily composed of Bugis and Toraja tribes. The town is rich in cultural traditions, celebrated through festivals such as Maulid Nabi and the Tana Toraja Festival. Pomalaa's cultural legacy is celebrated through local festivals such as the Buton Customary Festival and the Tolaki Customary Ceremony. Local cuisine, including Sop Konro and Ikan Bakar Pomalaa, as well as traditional crafts, further enrich the cultural landscape of the area.
