Vale updates its Climate Change Policy

Vale announces the publication of the revised Climate Change Policy, approved by the Board of Directors on October 30th, 2025, reaffirming the company’s commitment to decarbonization and collaboration across its value chain. The updated policy emphasizes the strategic anda essential role of minerals in the energy transition and addresses key issues related to the company's climate change initiatives, including:

Nature-based solutions, circular mining, and technological removals
Climate adaptation
Climate-related disclosure requirements, in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards
