Logistics Integration and Passenger Transportation

But our tracks don’t just carry cargo; they connect people. In Brazil, we proudly operate two regular passenger train lines, offering a safe, comfortable, and affordable transportation alternative:

  • Vitória-Minas Railway (EFVM): Connecting Espírito Santo to Minas Gerais. 
  • Carajás Railway (EFC): Connecting Pará to Maranhão. 

In total, this network spans approximately 2,000 kilometers of railway lines across Brazil.

History Center: Vale's history

The Memory Center is a Vale initiative dedicated to preserving, organizing, and sharing the company’s historical records over time.

Through documents, images, artifacts, and narratives, the center brings together multiple perspectives on Vale’s trajectory, contextualizing its role in the development of mining in Brazil and the key moments that have shaped its history.

Vale maintains parks open to visitors, focused on biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and connection with nature.

These spaces offer green areas, leisure opportunities, and initiatives aimed at protecting local flora and fauna.

Tickets can be purchased in person during ticket office opening hours; online, 24 hours a day, via this link; or through the Vale Passenger Train app, available for Android and iOS.
Currently, Vale operates passenger transportation on two major railways: the Vitória-Minas Railway (EFVM), which connects the Metropolitan Region of Vitória (ES) to Belo Horizonte (MG), and the Carajás Railway (EFC), which links São Luís (MA) to Parauapebas (PA).
