We believe that the path towards this goal involves transparency in everything we do.

That’s why we have a Code of Conduct that presents our values and ethical principles. In addition to a Whistleblower Channel that, since 2013, allows anyone, inside or outside our company, to report cases of suspicion or ethical misconduct, ensuring absolute confidentiality and a fair investigation.

Institutional and Government Relations

We maintain technical, transparent, and ongoing engagement with public institutions, government entities, and private organizations. We recognize that mining plays a foundational role in the country’s economic, social, and infrastructure development.

Through institutional dialogue, we work to strengthen a stable, predictable, and competitive regulatory environment—essential for long-term investments and sustainable value creation.

Our activities are organized around three strategic pillars

  • We advocate for a stable and competitive environment with consistent tax, mineral exploration, and foreign trade regulations.
  • We support policies that foster economic growth and promote efficient capital allocation.
  • We promote greater efficiency and modernization of environmental licensing processes, while supporting efforts to combat illegal mining activities.
  • We strengthen dialogue and collaboration to advance decarbonization, the energy transition, and climate adaptation initiatives.
  • We advocate for the modernization and competitiveness of the infrastructure required to support both sector growth and Brazil’s broader development.
  • We encourage investments and strengthen the competitiveness of mining logistics corridors.

We monitor trends, anticipate critical issues, and strengthen institutional dialogue through technical expertise, integrity, and transparency. This approach supports informed decision-making aligned with the public interest.

We also participate in national and international forums and initiatives focused on public policy, environmental issues, trade, energy, and sustainability, fostering the exchange of best practices and alignment with global standards.
