Priority on Environmental, Social and Governance

Protecting the Environment

We are committed to bringing our best operating practices from Sorowako to this expansion project. Regarding the environment, IGP Morowali will apply good mining practices as has been implemented in Sorowako.

Growing With Community

We are also committed to advancing the economy, increasing community capacity, and protecting the environment in conducting business and operations.

Even though the mining and processing activities at IGP Morowali have not started yet, we continue to run various social programs. In 2015-2021, we have disbursed IDR46.06 billion for various Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) programs. One of them, in 2021, we have started introducing the Organic System of Rice Intensification (SRI) concept to farmers in the empowerment area.

Talent Priority and Governance

We are committed to complying with laws and regulations and upholding human rights.

Our recruitment process at IGP Morowali adheres to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) commitment. This project is projected to absorb up to 15 thousand workers in the construction phase.

We will also optimize the involvement of local entrepreneurs in the Morowali Site. We have conducted a series of Technical Training activities for Local Entrepreneurs to Participate in Goods and Services Tenders.
