On October 13, we held the global webinar “Learning Together: The HSE Guide for Suppliers,” with the goal of sharing and aligning knowledge on the main updates to the Guide, especially regarding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management. The initiative aimed to promote technical alignment between Vale and its partners, strengthening the understanding of the guidelines and best practices that guide our joint efforts in Health, Safety, and Environment.

The event had 1,041 participants, reaching a peak of 750 simultaneous connections. We highlight the strong presence of our suppliers, who made up 78% of the audience, representing 493 different companies.

Broadcast in Portuguese with simultaneous translation into English, the webinar was held via Zoom and featured specialists from various areas who presented the main topics of the Guide.

• Human Rights – Willer Júnior (Human Rights Specialist) and Vanessa Bay (Manager of Whistleblower Investigations)

The opening was led by Hebson Nery, Global Director of Health and Safety, and the closing by Marcelo Moimaz, HSE Manager for Suppliers.

During the event, we officially launched the HSE Technical Channel for Suppliers—a global channel structured through corporate email, created to provide specialized HSE technical support to our partners.
