Enjoy the Ocean Month Program at Parque Costeiro - June 2026

Located at the far end of the Camburi Beach waterfront in Vitória, ES, Parque Costeiro is a space for learning, exploring, and connecting with nature. Throughout June — Ocean Month — we invite everyone to dive into a special program focused on appreciating, conserving, and connecting with the marine environment. Educational, environmental, and cultural activities will bring visitors closer to the richness and importance of our ocean, reinforcing a collective commitment to its conservation. In addition to the scheduled activities, visitors can enjoy the park's permanent attractions, such as the Guaiamuns Trail, the lookout point, the terrace, and the sensory garden — ideal spaces for contemplation and contact with coastal ecosystems.

The Park is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Guaiamuns Trail
Guided hikes with the opportunity to observe native flora and fauna of the restinga (coastal scrubland) and mangrove ecosystems.
Dates: Tuesday through Sunday | Times: 9 AM and 4 PM
Registration at the administration office. Subject to favorable weather conditions.

Yoga Class
Free yoga class focused on relaxation, breathing exercises, emotional balance, and quality of life.
Dates: Saturdays and Sundays | Times: 7 AM and 8 AM

Instituto Orca Exhibition
In partnership with Instituto Orca, the park hosts an exhibition featuring one of the world's largest biological collections of marine mammals, built over more than 30 years of research.
Dates: June 2–30 | Hours: 8 AM–5 PM

Aquarium Exhibition — "Know to Conserve" Project
Interactive activity promoting knowledge of marine sciences through oceanography.
Dates: June 3–30 | Hours: 8 AM–5 PM

Turtle Week — "Turtle Talk" Project
Biological exhibition on sea turtle species, painting activities, and 3D turtle assembly, encouraging creativity and playful learning.
Dates: June 10–16 | Hours: 9 AM–4 PM

Sea Horse Project Exhibition
A traveling exhibition featuring real seahorse specimens and interactive materials to spread essential knowledge about Brazilian seahorses.
Dates: June 11–30 | Hours: 8 AM–5 PM

Brazil Dolphins Project
Exhibit featuring photographic records and scientific equipment to raise awareness about dolphin monitoring and conservation in Baía das Tartarugas.
Dates: June 13–14 | Hours: 9 AM–4 PM

Ocean Guardians Project
Display table with preserved shark and ray specimens to address the conservation of these animals.
Dates: June 17–21 | Hours: 9 AM–4 PM

Project Science at Sea - School Sailboat: The project arrives at the Coastal Park to offer onboard field classes. A true immersion in ocean culture with the opportunity to learn how scientific research on the ocean works. Classes last up to 1:30h, with 4 groups per day.
Date: June 20 and 21

Educate to Care Project — LixoMar
Display table with materials addressing the impact of plastic and solid waste on the marine ecosystem.

Scientific Drawing Workshop
Join this science outreach workshop to learn about the creative processes of scientific illustration depicting marine animal anatomy.
