For general, institutional, or commercial matters, Vale recommends using the digital form “Contact Us.” Through this channel, it is possible to send compliments, complaints, and suggestions about the company’s operations. All submissions are reviewed by the responsible team, which responds as soon as possible.
For people living near Vale’s mining operations or railways, the recommended channel is Alô Vale. The company provides the toll-free number 0800 285 7000 for community requests, issues related to train circulation, and local emergencies. For people with hearing impairments, service is available at 0800 021 9934.
Vale maintains a dedicated center to handle all matters related to Brumadinho remediation and compensation. Service is available at 0800 031 0831.

No. “Contact Vale” is a channel intended exclusively for public relations, clarification of doubts, and submission of complaints about company services. To report suspicions or violations of Vale’s Code of Conduct, the Whistleblowing Channel must be used.

Whistleblower Channel

Vale is committed to acting with ethics and integrity, always practicing active listening. That's why we have our Listening Channels.

However, if anyone, inside or outside the company, who wants to report a case of suspicion or ethical misconduct, should use Vale's Whistleblower Channel. The channel is an exclusive tool for this purpose, structured to ensure absolute confidentiality, protecting the anonymity of the whistleblower and preserving the information so that a fair investigation can occur. The Whistleblower Channel guarantees all the conditions for a report to be independently verified. Under no circumstances will there be any breach of confidentiality, intimidation or retaliation against the whistleblower.
